Be sure to ask about heating controls if you prefer a warmer room. they operate from downstairs and can take time to adjust.

I had a lovely stay, especially enjoying the full English breakfast and the cozy atmosphere by the wood-burning stove. The quirky decor added charm, although the TV reception wasn’t great. I'd definitely return!

Had a lovely time at this charming old pub. My standard double room was cozy with a comfy bed and a fantastic view. The shower was great, and the toiletries smelled amazing. Breakfast was freshly cooked to order, especially loved the crispy halloumi. The location is perfect for walkers, with trails right outside. Friendly staff made us feel welcomed.

missingWrote a review on Aug 01comfortable bedfriendly serviceexpensive mealsearly bar closureunreliable wi-fi
A delightful stay, marked by a quaint atmosphere and friendly service. The room offered stunning views and the bed was extremely comfortable. Dining options were impressive, especially the crispy halloumi, which stood out as exceptional. the bar closed early, limiting late-night options, and the prices for meals and drinks felt quite steep. Wi-Fi and mobile signals were unreliable, which might detract from the experience for some guests.

missingWrote a review on Jun 10comfortable beddinggenerous portionsclean roomspoor soundproofing
The spacious rooms offer a decent amount of comfort, particularly the bedding which allows for a good night's rest. Excellent food portions in the bar area, including a pavlova that diners found massive and worth sharing, adding to the overall dining experience.
Room soundproofing is severely lacking, especially in units above the bar, where noise from below can wake you frequently. Maintenance issues are present, with bathrooms showing poor sealant and other plumbing quirks like unexplained flushing sounds. Inconsistent Wi-Fi service poses a hassle, dropping out frequently, especially when needing it most in the garden area. Overall cleanliness in bathrooms hasn't always matched expectations, as residues from past occupants were noticed.
